The skills developed in a humanitarian course – such as in leadership, crisis management, and program development – can be applied in a broad range of settings. Our graduate have found work in a range of areas, including in international non-government organisations, local community-based organisations, national and provincial government departments, disaster risk reduction assessment and programming, consulting enterprises, project management and community development, emergency service provision, community engagement and support, funding, coordination, monitoring and evaluation.
