Tina Mason

Consultant - Reshaping Aid Research - WHAF

Professional Bio

Tina has worked in humanitarian and development sector roles in accountability, grants management and business development. She is a writer and consultant, currently working with WHAF on the development of their decentralised ‘re-shaping aid research project.’  She further writes on problematic dynamics within the aid sector, with an interest in power transformation, expanding the definition of accountability (and the role of third party mechanisms), the untapped role of (donor country) public in change efforts and the role of higher education in questioning the flow of ‘Northern’ entrants into the sector. She formerly founded a platform called re:viewed that sought to provide a space for transparent feedback from people experiencing humanitarian services whilst better informing giving.
