Robert is a multi-skilled Innovation and Change leader with 15 years’ experience garnered from the UN system, INGO and Government. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in IT; and an ongoing Executive MBA and advanced Diploma in Organizational Design. Certified as a PRINCE2 Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and IT Infrastructure Library among others. He is keen on achieving outstanding results in highly complex environments that demand for exceptional service quality and sustainable customer experience. Robert has had the privilege and honor of being in very strategic and multipurpose roles working in diverse teams across Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe. More so, he has coordinated high level engagements with multi-disciplinary and cross-functional business customers and key executives to identify high-value, high-impact digital business and process improvement opportunities with quantifiable success measures through project management to adoption and operationalization.
In line with the Government of Republic of Uganda, National Development Plan and Ministry of Public Service Strategy, he developed a business process improvement and digital transformation strategy for the Uganda Public Service transformation to establish excellent processes for effective public service delivery and transformation, and revitalization of key processes. He has introduced application of Lean Six Sigma techniques and tools and has built internal capacity of faculty of trainers to pursue process excellence through continuous process improvement that enables Government to delivery satisfactory services to the citizenry. To—date, he has trained and certified over 500 Human Resource Officers, Auditors, and Chief Administrative Officers as yellow belts; and mapped, analyzed and optimized 12 key HR processes, 1 Records and Information Management Process, and a budget release process for the Republic of Uganda.
