Mayfourth Luneta
Professional Bio
Mayfourth is the Deputy Director of the Center for Disaster Preparedness. She started working in Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management with the Center for Disaster Preparedness in 1999. Since then she has been around the country and abroad providing training on CBDRRM to people’s organizations, local and national government, and international development organizations. She has co-written case studies on good DRR practices at the community level, and pioneered research on child-oriented participatory risk assessment and planning (COPRAP). Mayfourth has a bachelor's degree in Community Development from the University of the Philippines Diliman, and a Master in Public Health from the Adventist University of the Philippines.
