Professional Bio

Eamonn is a cognitive psychologist and child rights advocate with over 15 years’ experience working with children and young people from conflict and post-conflict environments. As a dual Dutch-Sierra Leonean National he worked for NGOs supporting children and youth in post-conflict Sierra Leone (2004-2011). He currently is War Child Holland’s advocacy manager, reaching out to youth ambassadors, media, donors, UN member states and the Dutch Government. Eamonn’s ambition is to significantly advance the wellbeing of child and youth affected by conflict and adversity, by creating innovative, safe and impactful stakeholder involvement in key issues.
