Annie is currently working with UNOCHA in Myanmar as an Accountability to Affected Populations and Community Engagement Specialist. Prior to this she worked with Australian Red Cross in Australia's Northern Territory, most recently as Team Leader for Emergency Services. She is a graduate of the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership's Masters of Humanitarian Assistance. As part of this, she completed a short research piece looking at community-led disaster management practices in remote Aboriginal communities in the Top End, a topic she maintains a keen interest in. She has also worked in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia in communications and development and holds degrees in media, international studies and Indonesian language.
